Manage your Schools Statutory Policies and Documents with ease

This feature allows you to create your school’s statutory policies and document library for all the different ‘Staff Types’ within your school, it then allows you to set expiry periods on the documents (if required).

Once your statutory policies and documents have been created and approved you are given the ability to email them over to the relevant staff members. The member of staff is then prompted to login, download the policy/document and confirm once they have read it. The record is then automatically updated and resets the expiry period (if required).

4 Simple Steps:

  1. Create your statutory policies and document library with expiry periods (if required).
  2. Email appropriate staff.
  3. Staff member logs in, reads the document/s and signs them off.
  4. The record is then automatically updated and resets the expiry period (if required).

Cost depends on the volume of data files held, please feel free to contact us to discuss.

Each new academic year schools are required to review their statutory policies and documents.
School and trusts are not always required to hold a specific policy for each requirement. It is possible to meet several requirements collectively unless stated otherwise.

Some policies need to be reviewed. Where it doesn’t, we strongly advise you to review the policy annually. Where there’s a change in the law or circumstances, you will need to revise your policies or documentation accordingly. There are also levels of approval required. Not all policies need to be signed off by the full governing body.

Organisations, such as your local authority, can provide free support and model policies which we suggest you consider.

Want us to manage your single central record?

Working alongside Heads, Schools and various Consultants we have successfully built and implemented a brand new state of the art system, an advanced data storage facility that keeps you up to date on all mandatory checks that are required to be recorded on your Single Central Record.
onlineSCR is a faster, more reliable and efficient system than a standard spreadsheet, with our built-in automated emailing reminder system that alerts you when all mandatory checks are required and then records them securely within your account.

The system also allows you to order all our additional services such as Children’s Barred List (List 99) Checks, Qualified Teacher Status checks, Prohibition checks, EEA checks, Section 128 checks as set out in our services list. All results are automatically fed back into your Single Central Record from all additional checks ordered.

For an additional cost, our Import Facility takes your current single central record spreadsheet and transfers the information into your OnlineSCR account. This facility gives us the opportunity to audit your current single central record and flag up any missing records or checks.

Working with our partners at APCS we also offer an online checking service for DBS certificates which have been placed on the ‘DBS Update Service’ those results will be emailed to you as often as you require.
