We’re an approved partner of the LASBM.
The LASBM is open to all school business management support staff in the North-West area. Their aim is providing a network to support business management in all school phases.
Holding regular conferences, the LASBM provides an optimum value for delegates, and comprises a mix of keynote speakers, sponsored presentations, relevant sponsored exhibitors and SBM development and networking sessions. Conference planning is guided by delegate responses, and feedback is consistently excellent.
The LASBM is growing, with over 400 members receiving regular information. Conference attendance is also increasing, usually having between 75 and 95 delegates at each event, with 150+ at our combined event.
LASBM aim to provide more accessibility to local information pertinent to their members.
LASBM Values:
The LASBM started in response to the need for a School Business Management network, they hold on to the original aims of providing development and collaborative opportunities for their members. There five values reflect how we work together, with others and with purpose.
Be Aspirational – Pushing the boundaries to develop and expand their services, constantly striving for innovative ideas to make a difference to their members and promote the school business management profession.
Be Considerate – Treating everyone considerately, aiming to ensure all stakeholders are completely satisfied with their LASBM experience.
Be Inclusive – Aspiring to make our services accessible to as wide a group as possible, including all sectors of School Business Management and those aspiring to the profession. Recognising the contribution each individual can make and the diversity of our group makes us stronger.
Be Professional – Upholding the professional principles of integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty and leadership so that we can be proud of our work.
Be Responsive – Listening to the views of their stakeholders and aiming to respond to changes in the educational landscape, developing their offer accordingly. Acknowledging some of the best ideas come from members.
